Best Cover for Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar Produced in 2003 or Before
Question:
I got my Falcon 2 tow bar in Jan 2004. When folded and the extensions are pushed in all the way, the arms are about 27inch long, 7inch tall and at the swivel point, it is about 4 1/2inch wide. The labels say 6,000 lb capacity and patent pending. There are two different numbers, on one label it has 025914 and on another it has 252284-10. Ive looked all over for a stamped number and couldnt find one. So, I lost the cover and I would like to replace it, but Im not sure which one to order. I found one, but it was like 36inch long. It sounds like the RM-053 might be the correct one, but what are the measurements? Then again, the RM-055 appears to be for a 6,000 lb capacity. What are the measurements for it. I hope you can help. I called my technical contact at Roadmaster to ask about the best cover fit for your Falcon 2 tow bar that was produced in 2003 or before. You identified the correct cover, part # RM-055-3. The other cover you referenced fits only the specific Falcon tow bar model 5250 which is now discontinued.
