What Adapter Do I need to Convert the 6-Way to a 4-Way on my 2010 Chevy Avalanche for a Hitch Cover

Hello I just purchased a 2010 Chevy Avalanche. Wanted to add a lighted trailer hitch cover and trying to figure out what kind of adaptorsI would need to go from the round 6 pin to the flat 4 pin on the lighted hitch cover.

For a 6-Pole Round connector, you would use adapter part # PK12717. Most of the manufacturers use 7-Pole connectors, not 6. There are 6 flat pins arranged in a circle with a large center post as the 7th contact. In this case, you would use part # PK12716.

Check the pictures of the parts I mentioned and you should be able to tell which is on your truck. I just do not want you to end up with the wrong part.
