Choosing a Replacement Roof Vent for a Curtis Craft Horse Trailer
Question:
Hello. I purchased a curtis craft horse trailer with nothing but a gaping hole where the roof vent used to be. There is no remaining hardware. How do I know which replacement vent to order and do I need to order additional hardware to install it? Thank you.

I don't have any information about what exact vent your trailer was factory equipped with, but a trailer roof vent isn't typically specific to the trailer. A roof vent on a trailer will usually use a 14-1/4 inch by 14-1/4 inch rough opening. If this is the case, you can use the Ventline Trailer Roof Vent, part # V2092SP-28. This vent includes a garnish that will allow the vent to fit roofs from 1-7/8 to 3 inches thick. We offer an install kit, part # 344270KITW that includes the tape, screws and sealant needed to install the vent.
If your rough opening in your roof is differently sized, please reply with the measurement of the opening and I'd be happy to make a recommendation for you.
