Recommended Custom Fifth-Wheel Installation Kit For 2015 Ford F-150 Crew Cab Pickup Truck

Im planning a 2015 Ford F-150 Crewcab 2650lb payload and 11,500 lb tow with a fifth wheel trailer less than 10,000 lbs GVWR and a wet/loaded hitch weight of 1400 lbs maximum. Because the payload is a bit marginal, Id like to keep the hitch weight as low as possible. I will not need a slider because the Forest River Classic fifthe wheel has the Reese Revolution hitch. Is there a hitch made to work well with the Reese Revolution? Are there light weight ones? Aluminum ones? Thanks for your help. PS, really like your web site.

The Custom installation kit for your 2015 Ford F-150 is part # RP50087-58. This will cut the installation time in half compared to a universal installation kit.

The hitch I recommend is part # RP30047. This hitch has a 16,000 lb towing weight capacity and features a 2-jaw locking system that means less rattle. This hitch weighs about 80 lbs.
