Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2014 Kia Sorento
Question:
I have a 2014 Kia Sorento SXL V6 AWD. I have a curt 13152 class 3 hitch installed with the curt 56151 T-connector wiring. I will be purchasing a Suncraft Launch 16RB, 2600lbs GVWR 3500 lbs. I was told by multiple RV vendors I should be running a brake controller. They want an exorbitant amount to install, and Id much rather do it myself so I know its done right. My question is, what brake controller to get? I already have the curt wiring, are their controllers as good as the more expensive units? Ill never be towing more than 3500 lbs or more than 2 axles. Looking for suggestions on a controller. THank you.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
Everyone who tries this brake controller swears by it, and it's not that much more expensive than most of the other controllers on the market. I attached a review video for this controller as well.
From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.
