We do have one trailer hitch for the 2015 Volkswagen Golf. It is Curt hitch # C11412. It will not fit the R models.
If you plan on doing some towing consult the owners manual to make sure you can. The proper ball mount for this hitch and vehicle is # C45016. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. And for trailer wiring use # 118646.
If you want to use the hitch for a bike rack or cargo carrier make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class I hitch. And on a bike rack you are limited to 2 bikes on a Class I hitch. And finally, for any non-trailer load Curt requires the use of a stabilization strap # 18050.
