Best Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2013 Buick Regal GS
Question:
I am looking for the most stealth trailer hitch for my 2013 Buick Regal GS. The 2013 Draw Tight hitch exludes the GS model. Is that because the hitch does not clear the GS rear bumper but otherwise fit? I would prefer to cut the bumper and have the cross beam hidden. The 2014 model appears to be universal but looks like it simply s the crossbar to clear the bumper and would, therefore, be visible. Please let me know if there are any other clearance issues with the 2013 model hitch excluding the rear bumper.

The Curt # C12115 and Draw-Tite # 36538 are the only options for GS models.
It may not be as hidden as you would like but keep in mind that in order to really see the cross tube of the hitch or really any other part of it other than the receiver you would have to get fairly low to the ground. If you need a hitch the only other option would be to have one custom fabricated but someone with experience in doing so.
If you will be using the hitch for something like a bike rack or cargo carrier then Curt requires the use of a stabilization strap, # 18050, for all non-trailer loads such as bike racks and cargo carriers.
