The company RBW is no longer in business and we are unable to find any installation instructions or find anyone who will support the RBW hitches.

Since you said you have a short bed truck I recommend installing a fixed fifth wheel hitch in your truck and replacing the pin box on your trailer with a Sidewinder. The Sidewinder will give you an additional 22 inches of clearance toward the rear of your truck bed, which is really important when executing sharp turns with your truck.

I recommend the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, part # RP30047. This is a 16,000 lb hitch and has a 4-way pivoting head to help secure the trailer hookup. The custom installation kit I recommend is part # RP50064-58. This cuts the installation time in half over the universal installation kit. when installed, this will give you the standard above-bed rails for most fifth-wheel hitches. I have included the instructions for the install kit you can check out.

The universal installation kit is part # RP30035. This kit includes all the hardware needed to put above-bed rails in your truck bed. I have included the installation instructions for this kit you can take a look at as well.

I have attached some helpful articles that explain Sidewinder pin boxes, and how you can measure your truck and trailer for clearance when making sharp turns.
