Gooseneck Hitch for 1959 Chevrolet Apache Longbed
Question:
Longshot, but I am certain that I am not the only one to inquire about installing one into a classic truck. I have checked the forums without any luck. The measurements must be out there somewhere for this custom install, any help appreciated.

The Curt Flat Plate Gooseneck # C65500 is a multi-fit application that can indeed be used on your 1959 Chevy Apache.
The Universal Rail Kit, part # C61502 can be used to provide the under bed bracing. Holes would be drilled through the plate, through the bed and into the frame members and the rail kit. At least six 1/2 inch grade 5 bolts need to be used to fasten the plate to the rail kit.
I don't have any measurements, but you will want the gooseneck ball to be centered above the rear axle.
The Flat Plate is not meant to be mounted under the bed.
