I have a 2015 Kia Sorento 6cyl w/factor 4 wire tow package. I am getting a trailer with electric brakes. What brake controller do you recommend and what will I need to wire it in?

The brake controller that I would recommend for you is the Tekonsha Prodigy P3, # 90195. This is one of the top brake controllers on the market and the LCD display makes setup and troubleshooting easier than any other brake controller.

To install the P3 on your 2015 Kia Sorento with the factory 4-way tow package, you will want the Universal 7-Way and 4-Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7. There are not plug-in style brake controller wiring options for the Kia Sorento, so the kit will have to be hardwired. I have attached installation instructions and a few help articles on installing a brake controller for you to check out.
