Is a Brake Controller Plug-In Wiring Adapter Available for a 2014 Thor Palazzo Motorhome
Question:
I have a 2014 Thor Palazzo Class A Diesel Motorhome, Is there a cable that plugs directly from Prodigy P2 to the existing motorhome plug I believe the coach plug is six pin. Hoping not to have to tap into wires. Thank you

I wish I had better news, but Tekonsha does not offer a plug-in wiring adapter for your 2014 Thor Palazzo motorhome. We have run into this question before and apparently Freightliner built this plug into some of their Class A motorhomes, but a wiring adapter was not designed to work with it.
Your best option would be to use the universal harness that comes with the Prodigy P2 and tap into the wires just behind the plug. If you need a new harness, you can use part # 7894. We do not have any information regarding the color code for the trailer wiring that Freightliner used, but I would not automatically assume the wires will connect color for color. It would be best to test the wires and trace them back as far as possible before splicing.
One wire should have constant power, that will connect to the black wire from the brake controller. One wire will only have power when the brake pedal is pressed, that will connect to the red wire. One wire should be grounded, that will connect to the white wire and one wire will run back to the trailer connector and that will connect to the blue wire.
