Yes, you can take the Replacement Head Unit # C16545 and pair it with the Curt OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch Legs # C16017 and you would have a fifth wheel hitch compatible with a Ford Underbed Hitch prep package.

Those two parts could be ordered individually or they could be ordered together as part # C16545-16017.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…
