Bike Rack Options for a 2005 Ford Mustang with Factory Spoiler

I need a bike rack that will fit a 2005 Ford Mustang that has a factory spoiler on it. Will the Thule Gateway TH88VR work?

You can go in either of two directions for a bike rack on your 2005 Ford Mustang with factory spoiler. One option is to install a Class I hitch that will allow you to transport 2 bikes on a hitch-mount bike rack; the other option is to use a trunk-mount rack that will be compatible with your factory spoiler.
A hitch and hitch rack may cost more than some trunk-mount racks but will offer the advantages of not placing any burden on the Mustang's sheet metal and also allowing you to use other hitch-mount accessories such as a cargo carrier. If you need to transport more than 2 bikes you will need to use a trunk-mount carrier.
The Thule Gateway 2 trunk-mount rack # TH88VR that you referenced will work on your Mustang with spoiler. Another excellent carrier that works very well with spoilers is the Hollywood Racks # HRF2.
