Your 2008 Honda Odyssey can be equipped with either of two sizes/classes of trailer hitch, either a 1-1/4-inch Class II hitch or a 2-inch Class III type. I suggest a 2-inch Class III hitch since this size offers broader compatibility with a wide range of accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers.

Our most popular 2-inch hitch for the 2008 Honda Odyssey is Draw-Tite # 75270 which bolts on using included hardware and without need for any drilling. This hitch offers a 350-lb tongue weight capacity.

I have linked two helpful articles concerning hitch installation that will assist you. I also linked an installation video (for a different hitch) that will show you the process step by step. The installation will be essentially identical for the Draw-Tite # 75270.

If you will be towing I also suggest wiring harness # 118438 from Tow Ready (which is a simple plug-in installation) and Ball Mount kit # EBMK4.
