I was thinking purchasing a Fulton fold trailer hitch. I have an galvanized trailer. What best method cutting the tongue off?

The easiest way to cut off the old coupler would be to use an angle grinder with a cut-off wheel. You could also use a cutting torch, but if you decide on that route, be sure you're in a well-ventilated area. Galvanized metal gives off toxic fumes when it's heated.
