Recommendation of a Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2008 Nissan Frontier
Question:
I own a 2008 Nissan Frontier SE king cab. I need to wire for a trailer. I do not have a tow package. Can you tell me what type of converter / adapter 4 wire I need to order from your company?

Although the # C59496 universal harness you'd looked at would work just fine for you, we have a plug and play option that would be much easier to install.
The Curt # C56225 would install without any cutting or splicing needed. The # C56225 provides both the 4 pole harness that plugs into the connector behind the rear bumper as well as the jumper harness and relays necessary to activate the tow package. The jumper harness plugs in to the existing connector located behind the passenger side kick panel, as shown in the install video I've linked for you.
