Attaching Ground Wire When Installing LED Tail Light To Trailer
Question:
Does the led light have to be grounded to the wire plug or can you ground it to the metal light box?

In order for the Optronics Miro-Flex Sealed Light, part # STL22RB, to work on your trailer, you will need either part # A47PB, or part # A45PB pigtail. These attach to the back of the light and have 3 wires that you need to run. The white wire is the ground and can then be attached to a clean metal surface like the trailer frame. The red wire is attached to the turn or brake light wire, and the black wire is attached to the tail light wire.
The rubber grommet for attaching this light to a trailer is part # A70GB.
I have attached a product review video for this light you can check out.
