With Trailer Connected to 2007 Dodge Ram there is No Green Light on Voyager Brake Controller

Question:

2007 dodge ram 5.9 diesel magacab green led not coming on checked wiring and connector. when trailer is on have no electric brakes.

The most likely cause of the Voyager brake controller # 39510 LED light not coming on is a corroded trailer or truck side connector. You will need to make sure that the trailer and truck side connectors are clean and free of corrosion inside and out.

It Is also possible that there is a problem with the brake magnet wiring on the trailer. Make sure that the wires to the magnets are not pinched or frayed anywhere. Also make sure the grounds are attached to clean and corrosion free bare metal surfaces.

You can visually inspect the magnets and if you can see the copper windings coming through the magnets will need to be replaced.
