Hitch, Wiring, Drawbar, and Ball for Towing Rental Trailer with 1999 Mercedes ML320

1999 ML 320 I going to rent a trailer, 5X8 What hitch parts will I need to satisfy the trailer rental place?

If your Mercedes does not currently have a hitch, I would recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Receiver Hitch, part # 75087. You will also need to wire the vehicle for towing, using the Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, part # C59236. Finally, you will need a draw bar, a trailer ball, and a pin and clip to hold the draw bar in the receiver.
The part # D-4 draw bar would be a good choice. You will need to consult with the trailer rental place to determine what trailer ball size you will need, it will either be 1-7/8 or a 2 inch. The pin and clip is part # PC3.
