Is a Tail Light Converter Needed When Installing ETBC7 on a 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser
Question:
I am almost done installing, but realized the trailer I will be hauling is on a 2 wire system. Do I still need to purchase a converter? 2009 FJ Cruiser

If your 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser came with or already had a 4-Way flat trailer connector that you plugged into the back of # ETBC7 then you will not need a converter. But if the vehicle did not have a trailer connector of any kind and you are trying to install the ETBC7, you will need to first install a 4-Way using # 118405.
