Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendations to Carry Two Bikes With 2014 Honda CR-V

Question:

Any better suggestions for hitch and rack besides Draw-Tite 75742 and Swagman S63360 to fit 2014 Honda CRV?

If you're planning on carrying two bikes, there's no reason you couldn't go with the Curt Class III hitch, part # C13119. Curt makes a quality hitch, and and you wouldn't sacrifice any quality or function by going with the less-expensive Curt model.

The Swagman Trailhead 2-bike rack you mentioned, part # S63360 is the rack I most often recommend. The rack is at an excellent price point, and offers all of what I consider to be crucial features in a bike rack, like anti-sway cradles that prevent the bikes from swaying back and forth and banging into each other. The anti sway hitch bolt holds the rack tightly in the hitch, and prevents the bike rack from wobbling around during travel. An optional cable/hitch lock is available, part # S64031. Unless you have an uber-expensive carbon fiber framed bike, there's no reason to look further or pay more for a bike rack.

If you'd prefer a platform-type rack, Swagman offers the XTC2, part # S64670. The same locking hitch pin and cable lock is compatible, and the angled shank helps provide additional ground clearance. I've linked you to a product demonstration video showing the rack installed on a 2013 CR-V.

I've also linked you to an install video showing the hitch I recommended being installed.
