Bike Rack Recommendation for a Bike E Recumbent with a 16 inch Front Tire
Question:
I need/want a hitch bike carrier to hold my BikeE recumbent bicycle. It has a wheel base of 54, but the front tire is only 16. I thought I saw somewhere that the Swagman only holds 20inch and higher. If the Swagman doesnt work then what would you suggest? I would rather have one that the tires are placed into the carrier verses one where the bike is placed over bars as the BikeE doesnt do that well without wobbling and sliding as the frame is too thick to fit into brackets.

I have a solution for you, the Swagman XC-Extended Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack # S64650-EXT that you referenced would be the correct bike rack to use, but for attaching the front wheel of your Bike E recumbent that has a 16 inch tire you would want to use replace one of the inner wheel hoops of the # S64650-EXT with a replacement wheel tray part # SQ1011 and you would be good to go.
