Will the XL Base Plate Kit for a 2005 Honda CR-V Work with a Haulmaster Tow Bar  

Question:

Have a Haulmaster towing bar that looks just like your Tracker tow bar but without the adapter. If I purchase the base plate, will it work and/or will I still need to buy the adapter from you also?

The Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, item # 1541-1 is not the correct base plate kit for the 2005 Honda CR-V. The correct kit for your vehicle is the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, item # 1555-5. You will need a Full-length crossbar to tow your vehicle safely behind your RV. The Roadmaster to Draw-Tite Tow Bar Base Plate Adapter, item # RM-025, will most likely work with the tow bar that you have if it is attached with 1/2 inch pins and clips like the RoadMaster Replacement Pin and Clip for Tracker Tow Bar, item # RM-910006.

You will also need the Roadmaster Tow Bar Quick Disconnect Kit, item # RM-201, to allow you to remove the XL brackets from the towed vehicle.
