Hello neighbors and friends, I'm Steven with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at this Stromberg Carlson Gen Secure Locking Generator Storage Box. So as you can see, it's a nice big item. It's gonna secure your generator and other items during your travel. The box will fully encase your generator and lock with included keys and it is designed to attach to a Stromberg Carlson's Trailer Tray cargo carrier for an A-frame trailer. Now that particular trailer tray is sold separately.

I'll go ahead and throw up a graphic here on the screen. That's what that trailer tray cargo carrier for A-frames will do. You can hold this box on that particular tray. So again, that tray is sold separately. Now this box will open fully so you can safely run your generator without having to mess with the box.

So it's got a key hole here, comes with two sets of keys, very nice. You can also close that cover whenever you're not using it, keep the key thing closed, but simple T latch, simply open it and it's got a single gas piston that allows that to open under its own power. Now once you get it open, there is a black knob that you can tighten, twist it and tighten it in either position you want, you can make it go there all the way open and then secure that knob to make it tight. It's also gonna come with a set of instructions, all the nice hardware and everything that you need. It also comes with two nice straps, a couple of carrying straps.

It's got anchor tight on points in here and I'm gonna go ahead and zoom in so you can see some of that better. So you've got welded on anchor tie points on all four sides, even one back here that you can't see. And again, you get included straps and the matching buckles that go with them. And again, you're gonna get all the hardware needed to tie down this particular unit. Now as you can see on the back, it's got vents and on the side here, it's got vents to let the fumes and everything out.

It's gonna allow for the residual gas, propane fumes, that kind of stuff to vent and exhaust out. It also has these nice, this is a rubber membrane here and it's brand new, so obviously we're not gonna cut a hole in there, but you would basically just cut an X where it's marked here and then you could simply run your cords and cables out this side or the other side there as needed. So it's a very nice sturdy box. It is made very stylish, rustproof, diamond tread aluminum and like I said, it does include all those welded in tie down points for all your gear and everything. Here's the other side with that rubber access port as well and the vents. Now I'm gonna zoom back out so you can kind of see the whole thing from all angles. Now keep in mind I have this up on the table. I'm about 6'2", so that kind of gives you an idea of how tall this guy is. But externally, this thing is 21-1/2" tall, 31-1/2" long and 18" wide. That's obviously with the lid closed for those measurements. And there again, you can see those back vents on there as well, the whole unit's actually pretty light. It only weighs about 40 pounds. And I'll pick it up here in a second and show you. And again, it's got the single gas strut, very simple to open and close. And then again you just latch the T handle. Like I said, it's only 40 pounds, it's not too bad. And again, it's Stromberg Carlson. Very nice brand, very nice product. Now this will hold generators up to 21" tall on the inside, 29 inches" long and 14-3/8" wide. Again, that's the size of the generator that's gonna hold. So again, very nice product. Stromberg Carlson's been around for ages. Very nice lightweight box. Keep your generators safe and secure. Again, the nice port here where you can run the wires and hookups out the side, I think that's just a nice feature as well.
