Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2013 Audi A4 Allroad
Question:
What is the best trailer hitch for an 2013 audi allroad? Several trailer installers I have talked to have said that a lot of modifications cutting plastic underbelly needed to be done and they couldnt guarantee the look afterwards. Are there any that dont require inch a lot of modifications? Local audi dealership was not much help. Thanks.

The Curt # C11195 is indeed compatible with your 2013 A4 Allroad. The only modification necessary would be a small hole trimmed in the muffler heat shield, as mentioned in the installation instructions which I've linked. The instructions also mention that on single exhaust-equipped models, there's a plastic underbody panel on the passenger side frame rail that needs to be removed. These modifications are on the underside of the vehicle, and wouldn't be visible from behind.
If you'll be towing with your Audi, you might also need the following:
Ball Mount, part # C45521
2 inch ball, # A-82 or 1-7/8 inch ball # A-80
You'll need to see your Audi dealer about a trailer wiring harness
If you're using the hitch as a mounting point for a bike rack, be sure the rack you choose is Class I compatible, like the ones I've linked.
