Will The Thule Pulse Alpine Cargo Box Fit a 2013 Mazda 3 Hatchback without Hatch Interference

Will this cargo box fit a 2013 mazda3 hatchback? Will it come into contact with the hatch? And will it leave enough space for some thing else, ex. Kayak or bikes? Thanks.

To determine if the Thule Pulse Alpine cargo box # TH613 will fit your 2013 Mazda 3 without hatch interference you will need to take a measurement. Measure from the center of the front crossbar straight back to the seam between the top of the hatch and the roof. If that measurement is greater than 55-1/4 inches, the box will fit.
The Pulse Alpine measures 25-1/2 inches wide so it is possible, depending on the usable width available on the crossbars, to mount an additional item. However, you would need to consult the vehicle owners manual and/or Mazda for the roof capacity of the vehicle. Chances are that a loaded box plus a kayak or bike would exceed the capacity.
