Multipurpose Ball Mount Recommendation to Tow a Boat and Carry a Scooter  

Question:

Can I tow a boat at 4300 lbs not sure of the tongue weight on the bottom and a 200 lb scooter on the top with this item. Thanks

I have a solution for you, but the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter # RM-077-4 that you referenced is only designed for flat towing vehicles so I cannot recommend it for you.

Instead you would want the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount part # D210. This will let you tow your boat with the ball mount and then use a carrier on the top hitch opening. The unit itself has a 7,500 lb towing and 750 lb tongue weight capacity while the top receiver has a 350 lb tongue weight capacity.
