What Size Hitch Ball Does the Cushioned Ball Mount for 2 Inch Hitches # AMSC10 Use
Question:
does the class IV 10inch hitch code: AMSC10 take a 2inch ball with a 1 1/4inch shank?
asked by: Tim M
Expert Reply:
The Cushioned Ball Mount for 2 inch Hitches with 8-3/4 Inch Rise or 10 Inch Drop, # AMSC10, uses a hitch ball with a shank diameter of 1 inch.
For a 2 inch hitch ball you will need part # 63845 and for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball you will need # 19260.
Since the Cushioned Ball Mount, # AMSC10, has a ball hole diameter of 1 inch, a hitch ball with a 1-1/4 inch shank will not work.
