Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for a 2014 Ram 3500 with Hitch Prep Package

I have a 2014 Dodge Ram BigHorn 3500 with factory installed rails under the bed. Can I install this hitch?

If you have an 8 foot bed you have a couple options for a hitch that will fit in the factory hitch prep package of your 2014 Ram 3500.

You could get the Curt Fifth Wheel Hitch for Ram Hitch Prep part # C16530-16021. Or you could get the B and W Fifth Wheel For Ram Hitch Prep part # BWRVK3600. Both hitches have 2 piece jaws that would provide excellent hitch to king pin contact for minimal chucking, so for the price I would go with the Curt.

If you have a 6 foot bed you will need a slider hitch to make 90 degree turns, but before you get a hitch you would need the Reese Rail adapter part # RP30154. For a slider hitch with plenty of capacity for your setup you would want the Reese 20k Slider Hitch part # RP30083.

The part # RP30142 would not fit your vehicle as it is designed for Ford underbed and Elite Series Reese Rail kits.
