Comparing etrailer and Pro Series Trailer Hitch Cargo Carriers for a 2002 Honda Odyssey
Question:
Im wondering which hitch cargo carrier would be the best for my 2002 Honda Odyssey: The etrailer 398874 Cargo Carrier or the Pro Series 63153? Are there any functional differences between these carriers that would make one better than the other for my vehicle, or is it only style differences? Thanks for your help. I have to decide and buy quickly.

The etrailer cargo carrier # e98874, is the only one that can fold up. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest part of the carrier is 9-1/2 inches when folded and 19-1/2 inches when in the down position. It fits a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver hitch only and has a 500 pound capacity. The 2" rise in the shank provides a little better ground clearance. It can be fitted with a light kit # e98943-44LED. This is the best all around carrier for your 2002 Honda Odyssey.
Pro Series carrier # 63153 does not fold up but has more of a rise in the shank, 2-1/2" for ground clearance compared to the etrailer at 2". It can be fitted with a light kit, # 20174. It also has a 500 pound capacity and fits a 2 inch receiver only. From the center of the pin hole to the nearest part of the carrier is 12-3/4 inches.
