Recommendation to Carry a Bicycle on a 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible
Question:
I own a 2013 VW Convertible beetle and I would like to get a bike rack. The car has a spoiler on it so I dont know what to do. Is there something that can be attached to the car that will allow me to take my bike with me when I travel.

In order to safely haul a bike with your 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible, you would need to install the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch, # C11354. This custom fit trailer hitch receiver will bolt directly to your Beetle's frame with no welding required. Curt does require the use of Support Straps, # 18050, for all non-trailer loads including bike racks, cargo carriers and so forth. Failure to properly support these loads will void your hitch warranty from Curt.
We have numerous bike racks that will work with the Curt Class I Hitch, # C11354, that I mentioned. One of my favorites is the Thule Camber 2-bike Carrier # TH9058. It is a great, economical, option that comes with anti-sway cradles and has the tilting feature for cargo access.
I am also including a link to the other bike racks that we offer for use with a Class I hitch.
