How Much # 10-2-1 is Needed to Wire up a 7-Way in a 2000 Chevy Silverado

I am hooking up a brake controller and 7 way just like in the 2000 Silverado video. It references the 10-2-1 wire, but how many feet of wire do I need to order to make it up to the junction box under the hood?

It's better to order too much than not enough, since there are variances in vehicle lengths I think at least 20 feet would be enough, especially considering turns and bends in the wire will require more length. Or you could measure the entire length of your vehicle and order that as the length of the Jacketed 2 Wire, 10 Gauge, Brake Wire - per Foot # 10-2-1 that you would need.
