Will SportRack Vista Rooftop Cargo Bag Fit a 2014 Jeep Patriot with Side Rails Running Front to Back

Question:

Will the SR8106 cargo carrier fit on a 2014 Jeep Patriot w/o crossbars? We have only the luggage rack bars on each side and no crossbars...I see that you also recommend the non skid pad to prevent scratches. If this would not work for our Jeep which one would you recommend, not wishing to spend too much money...Any thing you can tell us about this would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

If the factory side rails are raised above the roof line on your 2014 Jeep Patriot (they should be) then you can use the SportRack Vista Rooftop Cargo Bag # SR8106. A raised side rail will have a gap between the bottom of the rail and the roof.

I do recommend using the protective pad # RL100650. It will not only protect the roof of your Patriot but also help prevent the bag from moving during starts and stops.

Before loading anything on the roof consult the vehicle owners manual and/or Jeep for the roof capacity.
