Recommended Trailer Hitch For 2005 Toyota Corolla
Question:
I searched for a trailer hitch for a 2005 Corolla and the installation video is only for a 2013. Is this because the installation is the same for both years?

Many times there are no changes to the frame for several years when vehicles are manufactured. That allows hitch manufacturers to make the same hitch for that same period of time. The installation video we have for a 2013 Corolla would be very similar to the installation on your 2005.
I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 24913. This Class l hitch has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening, and includes a ball mount, pin and clip.
If you need a 1-7/8 inch ball for the hitch I recommend part # 19256. For a 2 inch ball i recommend part # 19258.
When you considering towing with your Corolla you will want to check with your owner's manual or with your dealership to find out what the towing or tongue weight capacity is for your vehicle.
