If you don't already have a carrier, Yakima offers their JayLow, part # Y04073, which would allow you to carry up to two kayaks. The JayLow includes straps for securing one kayak to the carrier, as well as bow and stern tie-downs. For a second set use part # Y04031.

Thule offers the Hood Loops, part # TH529 which can be closed in the hood and rear trunk or hatch opening, providing a secure place the attach the tie towns without scratching or otherwise damaging the vehicle. You might also be interested in a fairing, part # RRRF2. A fairing will make the roof rack a bit more aerodynamic and quiet some of the wind noise.
