What Jacks Do the Replacement Handle for Ram Jacks Fit
Question:
After watching the etrailer TJPB-HD and TJD-7000-HD videos, can you please advise the following: 1 Is the diameter of the steel the same on each handle? The length for each handle is listed in etrailers answers. 2 Are both handles shafts and mounts the same size regarding where they get mounted? Specifically, will the TJD-7000-HD handle fit on to the shaft of a TJP-7002-B or TJDP-7000, and will the TJPB-HD handle fit on to the shaft of a TJD-7000? 3 What differentiates the two handles regarding what jack they go with, because the TJP, TJDP and TJD series all have 8,000 lb. support capacity jacks, whether or not they are round or square jacks? Thank you. Kelly S.

Hey Kelly yes, the handle diameter is the same for both # TJPB-HD and # TJD-7000-HD and the mount for both is the same size as well. The only difference between the two handles aside from the length are the jacks they fit.
The Replacement Topwind Knob Handle for Ram Jacks # TJPB-HD specifically fits the TJA-5000T jack as well as the Ram TJB, TJP, and TJDP Series jacks.
The Replacement Topwind Handle w/ Claw Knob for etrailer and Ram Square, Direct Weld Jacks # TJD-7000-HD fits TJD-5000 and TJD-7000 Series jacks with a 3,000 - 7,000-lb capacity.

Bryce, if the diameters are the same and assuming that the materials are, too, are you saying then that the TJD-7000-HD handle just won't fit the shaft of the TJB, TJP and TJDP, and that the TJPB-HD handle won't fit the TJD shaft? In other words, if the handles are identical with the exception of the lengths, is it physically possible to fit both of these handles on any one of the topwind jacks in the TJP, TJDP and TJD series? Since the TJD-7000-HD doesn't seem to be more heavy duty, I am trying to determine why one handle fits some of the jacks but not the other. Thank you. Kelly S.
