As far as I know your 2008 Victory trailer has an A-frame on it. Assuming that is correct, and it is a 50 degree A-frame, I recommend one of the following:

-Demco 50-Degree A-Frame Trailer Coupler # DM16680-52 (Bolt-On, Silver Powder Coat)

-Demco 50-Degree A-Frame Trailer Coupler # DM13205-95 (Bolt-On, Zinc Finish)

-Demco 50-Degree A-Frame Trailer Coupler # 12660-97SP (Weld-On, Primed)

If you have a 32 degree A-frame you can choose from the following:

-Demco 32-Degree A-Frame Trailer Coupler # DM15633-81 (Weld-On, Black)

-Demco 32-Degree A-Frame Trailer Coupler # DM15633-52 (Weld-On, Silver)

-Demco 32-Degree A-Frame Trailer Coupler # DM15633-97 (Weld-On, Primed)

50 degrees is the standard so that is likely what you have. I like the Demco with the eZ latch since it is a simple mechanism that also allows you to hook up while the latch is in the closed position. You can choose based on the finish/installation you want for your trailer. I'm sure the stock one was welded on so you would have to drill holes for the bolt-on option.

I need just the coupler part not the whole piece that bolts to the frame

@Taten as in the mechanism within the coupler itself that lets you hook onto the ball? So a repair kit like the # DM5817 you were looking at? If so, you will have to identify the coupler on it now to see if there is a repair kit available. If that is not what you're talking about I will need further clarification.
