Will Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer Fit 2006 Monaco Knight With Dana Axle
Question:
I have a 2006 40ft Monaco Knight diesel pusher with the Dana Spicer front axle. I am trying to figure out the correct steering stabilizer to purchase for my unit. The reviews on your site say the RM-RBK6-RSSA fits my motorhome with the Dana front axle but your fit guide says not for the Dana front axle. What other than the Dana front axle was used back then on the roadmaster chassis. I have emailed many stabilizer companies and never get a solid answer what will work.

I don't have any information on what other front axle might have been used on the Roadmaster chassis. I would say that there are others out there without the Dana Spicer front axle or it wouldn't be called out like this. I saw the review on our site from 2012 so I reached out to my contact at Roadmaster to clarify.
According to their tech notes the # RM-RBK6-RSSA and their other stabilizers will not work with the Dana Spicer. I'm not sure if that information was old and updated since the review but I would follow what Roadmaster says. You may actually be able physically install it like that person in the review did but that doesn't mean it would be safe to use or work as intended.
Roadmaster is really the only company I have information on since it is the only brand we carry. I would try calling instead of emailing some of the other companies. You may have better luck getting info that way or even speak to a more knowledgeable person if they have different departments handling emails vs the phone.
