Replacement Landing Gear for 1995 Sierra by Cobra

Question:

I have a 1995 sierra by cobra 27 foot fifth wheel and the gear in the landing gear broke. I believe its a rbw and I cant get parts for it. What replacement do you recommend. The outer tube is 2 1/2 x 30 1/2 and the brackets are 22 1/2 outside to outside and 18 1/2 inside to inside. The gvwr is 7000. Thanks

For replacement landing gear on your 1995 Sierra by Cobra you can use the Landing Gear Set # RVLG-8HDL. Since nothing matches your weld stop measurements you will also need to weld on new brackets # LC113511. This landing gear has a capacity of 8,000 lbs and uses the standard inside 15-1/2" and outside 17-1/2" measurements found on most modern landing gear. If you want to add a motor it is available separately # LC142178.

OK thanks. I ordered the RVLG-8HBL could I weld stops on the jacks instead of welding new brackets ?

@WayneB I suppose if you know what you're doing it is possible but it would void the warranty. I recommend just moving the brackets since it would be less work and measuring. That would also mean the brackets are in the right position should you need to replace landing gear again in the future.
