Is There Support Under Mesh Bottom of Curt Cargo Carrier C18110

There is no support under the mesh bottom?

Hello Charles,

Correct, there are no supports directly under the mesh bottom of the Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # C18110.

The # C18110 has braces at the front and back that extend out (see photo) so the entire weight isn't supported only by the middle beam, but nothing directly under the mesh.

If you want something that does have supports directly under the floor of the carrier you'd need one from Reese, with the correct option depending on your hitch size. Either the Reese Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" Hitches # 63155 or2" Hitches # 63153.
