Is There A Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform For a 2023 Lexus GX 460 With Factory Crossbars?

Question:

I have a 2023 Lexus GX 460. I have the standard GX rails and with 2 of the standard Lexus cross bars. Supposedly the cross bars will handle a dynamic weight of 150 Lbs. I will only use the platform for hauling less weight than the bars will hold. I haul bulky items like furniture. Can I mount the the Rhino rack pioneer 52inch long 56inch wide to my existing roof rails and cross bars? If not, which Rhino rack pioneer will fit on my existing railing system? Thank you

Since you already have the crossbars on your 2023 Lexus GX 460 you would need to use either the 58" Long x 47" Wide # RR42115BF or 48" Long x 38" Wide # RR42114BF which will fit a crossbar up to 3" wide and 1-1/2" tall. You will want to verify this matches your crossbar as we do not have the dimensions off your factory bars.

The Platform # RR42TB you found will only mount using a specific fit kit which Rhino-Rack currently does not show available for your Lexus or you would have to have their HD crossbars.

If your crossbars are larger than 3" wide and 1-1/2" tall we do have the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack with Backbone Mounting System # RR93AB but this will require you to remove the factory roof rails and install it in its place.

Bud, Thank you for your response. I am now leaning away from Rhino platforms and considering the Yakima Locknload because it will definitely fit my cross bars. Thank you again. Rgds, Gene
