Availability of Custom Wiring Harness for Brake Controller Installation on 2023 Winnebago Solis 59P
Question:
I have a 2022 RAM Promaster 2500 chassis under a 2023 Winnebago Solis 59P NPF Van. it has a 7pin, and a 4pin hitch assembly already installed when i bought it. I think it was factory and not Winnebago that did the wiring, if so i have done this on an F150 and a Jeep GC, and its normally a controller and a pre wired harness to go into the 4 pin square plug. I am looking for facts and the correct hardware and instructions required? This seems too complicated. TIA

It sounds like you're looking for a custom wiring harness like the # 3024-P to install a brake controller in your 2023 Winnebago Solis 59P. Even with the factory 7-way they did not add a plug and play connector on the Promaster 2500. The only option would be to find the correct wires and splice them in. If you don't want to try to figure out where the correct wires are located you could always use a brake controller like the Curt Echo # C51180 which plugs into your 7-way at the rear.

I’m gonna go with one of those options. I called the Dealer, who is Mcclaine RV in Rockwell, they were no help and didn’t get back to me on this, and another order for cabinet doors they were supposed to call me when they were in, 2 months over the date they stated. glad there are other options than dealers like them, appreciate the help.
