Recommendation for 2012 Ford F-350 Super Duty That Squats While Towing a Toy Hauler

Question:

I have a 2012 f350 4x4 super duty dually with RAS rear suspension...3000 lb. I pull 36 toy hauler bumper pull and the truck still squats causing headlights to me misaligned. What can I add or replace to level out the truck? Thanks

Hey David, thanks for reaching out!

If your RoadActive Suspension Kit isn't getting the job done for you then I recommend making sure your OEM suspension is in good working order and that the RAS is adjusted to give the most help possible.

Aside from that my only other recommendation would be to remove the RAS and go with the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F2703 rated for 7,500 lbs instead. These require a bit more maintenance than the RAS but they are easier to adjust and have a wider weight rating they will work with.

Since you'll be using this for towing a toy hauler I also recommend checking out the Firestone Air Command Extreme Duty Air Compressor with Tank # F2543 as it gives you a way to monitor and adjust the air bags in real-time as well as provides you with a portable tank to fill up tires while you're away from home.
