Hello Lucas, I can definitely point you in the right direction. RV air conditioners are not custom fitted though, so really can't use the vehicle selection tool for this purpose.

Do you happen to know what brand of air conditioner is currently on your camper? We will undoubtedly have a replacement for you, and knowing the brand will help us pinpoint the exact right replacement system. We also can replace the rooftop portion only, or the entire AC system can be replaced depending on your needs.

For example, if you currently have a Dometic air conditioner, and you want to replace the rooftop portion only, I recommend the Furrion Chill HE # FR42PV. This comes with a conversion kit that makes it directly compatible with the current Dometic system. So, your thermostat and ceiling registers will remain in place.

If you are looking to replace the entire AC system, you can instead use the # FR85PV which is a complete AC system. You get your AC unit, wall thermostat, distribution box and controller - everything you need to completely replace the current system. Overall I really like the Furrion Ac units, they are dependable, efficient and quiet.

If you can send me the brand of the current AC, and also let me know if you want to do the rooftop portion only or a complete AC system, I am happy to let know exactly what parts you will need.

Hi Jesse, I only want to replace the rooftop portion. Problem is, I’m not sure the brand without going out to storage and looking at the trailer. I know it’s the stock ac from forest river, but I don’t have the manual with me. Would you happen to know what the stock ac brand is for that model? Thanks!

@Lucas I am sorry but I do not have a way to provide that info. Dometic and Coleman are most common, but this is not something that is standardized in the RV industry. So there is no build sheet we can reference that tells us the brand of the original AC. If you happen to have the VIN written down you may be able to contact a Forest river dealership and they could tell you the brand. Otherwise you will have to just go physically inspect the camper.
