Can The Curt Echo Trailer Brake Controller Be Used On a Vehicle With Android Auto?

Can I use my Curt Echo brake control with my new car and Android Auto? It says not compatible but wont interfere. Which is it?

Currently the Curt Echo Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 will not work with Android Auto on your vehicle dash. So while you will be able to use it on your android phone it will not interfere with you using the OneControl app while connected to Android Auto in your car for playing music or using Maps. I hope this clears things up for you and I did not confuse you more.
