Replacement 12 x 2-Inch Electric Brake Assemblies for 2004 Winston Equipment Trailer GVWR 15850  

Question:

I just picked up a use winston trailer A 2004 the GVWR is 15850 LB Each axle is 6084 LB IT has 2inch pads and a 12inch inside dim. Drum I found brake assy on you web. So here is my ? What brake assy do i need a dexter or one of the muny you list i dont know the make of the axles. can you help?

The brake assembly you referenced, # 23-105 from Dexter, is a left-handed 12 x 2-inch electric drum brake that has a 6000-lb capacity. It uses a 5-bolt mounting pattern (hardware sold separately). The matching right-handed brake is part # 23-106. I checked the Winston Trailer website but I could not find specs for the brakes used on their trailers.

The link provided will let you see all left- and right-hand 12 X 2-inch electric trailer brakes, including types that adjust automatically, manual adjusting types and brakes that include a parking brake function.

If you need new mounting hardware (recommended) we offer washers # 38LW, nuts # 38N, and bolts # 7-5.
