Can curt pintle hook 48231 be mounted to curt pintle receiver C48239? If so what bolts do you use?

Yes, the Curt Pintle Hook # C48231 can be mounted to the Curt Pintle Hook Mounting Plate # C48239 as they both have the same 1-3/4" x 3-3/8" mounting pattern. The Pintle Hook does include bolts, nuts and washers for mounting to the mounting plate. And we have the Replacement Hardware Kit # C36NR if you do not have the bolts.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
