Recommended Hitch for a 2002 Ford E-150
Question:
Will this fit a 2002 E-150? The description is super clear about Ford vans 2004+ but pre-2004 it says something like full size vans. Some of the other hitches that claim to fit a 2002 ford van specifically say but not E-150inch so I just want to be sure! This one looks like overkill since I only want a bike rack but if its the only bolt-on option thats fine. I also saw another question referencing a 2001 E-150 and the answer mentioned part #41906 but I could not find that number by searching.

I checked with Draw-Tite and I can confirm that their Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch item # 41945 does indeed fit your 2002 Ford E-150. It is definitely going to be overkill for a bike rack but the rest do involve drilling and the prices are all comparable.
I have linked an installation video to help you get it set up.
We do not have the 41906 hitch but it does involve drilling according to Draw-Tite's website.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C55344 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
