Can I Swap Out 4-Lug Hubs For 5-Lug Hubs On A Little Dude Boat Trailer?

I have an old 15 ft. Tilt boat trailer. The brand is Little Dude. The rims are 12 inch. Looking to replace the hubs. It is 4 lug. Ok to switch 5 lug. Would like hubs pre-assembled.

Hey Scott, it certainly may be possible to put 5 lug hubs on your Little Dude boat trailer. It will completely depend on what size axle and more specifically the spindle size the trailer is currently equipped with. There is no way for us to look this up with a VIN or anything, so your best bet will be to remove one of the hubs and unpack the bearings. Each bearing will have a number stamped on the edge. If you can provide me with the inner and outer bearing numbers, we can determine if there will be a 5-lug hub available that will fit your trailer. We do offer a few pre-assembled hubs such as the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3.5K Axles # AKIHUB-545-35-EZ-K, so depending on what you have that very well may be an option.
