Will The Phoenix Faucets RV Shower Valve with Brass Fittings Replace the Plastic Fitting Version?
Question:
Hi. I currently have the Phoenix Item # PF223242 all plastic shower valve I need to replace and I was considering replacing it with the Phoenix Item # PF213321 all metal valve. I do not need the vacuum breaker and it would appear to be a much sturdier solution in my application. My concern is I read a review from a customer that was having to replace the cartridge on a regular basis due to it not sealing. Have you had any feedback on this being a problem? Thanks for any recommendations.

The Phoenix Faucets RV Shower Valve with Brass Fittings # PF213321 is a much better option than the Plastic Fittings # PF223242. With the issues the one person was having it makes me think there is something else going on that being the real reason they had to keep replacing the cartridge. It could have been very harsh water and they weren't using an inline filter or it may have been damaged but that is not something we have regularly seen.
